We're definitely hospitality critics and we want to share the good, the bad, and we will honestly tell you about the ugly... if we find it. Our goal is to recognize outstanding products, places, people, and services and to help those who are not exceptional to learn how to improve.
With a very high demand for dinner prior to a major concert the Tony Roma Restaurant inside the Buffalo Bill Resort at Primm definitely needs to prepare their staff to handle the crowds. It's totally great to be busy, but that doesn't mean that guests who sit at the bar are not asked if they would like a drink? We were surprised that the meals would take 1 hour after being ordered to be served.
We were less than impressed this time that silverware and napkin setups were not placed in front of the dinners. Six couples had to ask for their silverware. We watched as a "high roller'" yelled at the management because he waited for his food for almost one and a half hours.
There is an easy fix to not being able to make customers happy. If you let customers leave unhappy, they tend to tell people about the experience . Unhappy customers often will not return themselves. Over time, this helps you to lose customers Then, you won't be as busy. If you're not busy maybe the staff will pay attention to the remaining customers. If they don't, we'll see that new sign in your window: For Lease.
Your customers have the power to make or break your business. The little things help you to take care of the bigger issues such as an extra larger crowd than expected. The little things are a warm welcome, paying attention to guest needs, smiling and making the customers feel like they're special even if you're busy, acknowledge and tell them if there's a reason why they might be waiting more than normal for your product or service, and try to enjoy serving your customers. If you absolutely don't want to be on the job it shows.
Fabulous ratings and our compliments go out to the staff handling the Garden Desert Arena and their professionalism with welcoming guests to concerts and events, efficiency at taking tickets at the entrance to the theater, and in getting everyone seated prior to the events.
The selection of entertainment at the Garden Desert Arena in Buffalo Bills if outstanding. This summer headliners such a Bill Engvall, Gretchen Wilson, America, Chris Cross, and more have made many people happy to drive to Primm from Las Vegas and all over Southern California.
The word we've gotten from speaking to many of the concertgoers is they are happy with the events and are going to be attending more of them. We told you that Reba will be at the Garden Desert Arena on September 5, 2009.
On September 5, 2009 , Bill Cosby performs at TI on the Vegas Strip.
There have been quite a few slot tournaments organized by Palazzo and Venetian's Club Grazie. These two upscale resorts are connected by some of the most wonderful shopping experiences the world has to offer. You could stay inside for days and not experience the same culinary treats or merchandise.
The new Shoppes at the Palazzo has had an entertainment feature called "The Living Garden" and a vine-llke stilt performer worthy of your time and your photos. One of my favorite stores is Barney's of New York and for sushi, you can't beat Sushi Samba. For socializing, dining, and cocktails we'll see you at Lavo on the lobby level of the Palazzo or Tao by the Venetian Shoppes.
If you're more interested in a good deal than being seen , head to our outlet malls for bargains and fun.
Mandalay Place has a new Minus 5 Bar and Lounge and it's more than cool. It's freezing. It's a hot spot if you dress the part.
While it's hot outside and you want to gamble above the pools, Manadalay Bay has a special place to play and still see what's happening. If you're more adventurous there are a few good top-optional pools on the strip. Before the summer pool season ends try the special pool at Manadaly Bay or Bare Pool at the Mirage. A day of topless sunbathing doesn't come cheap on average at about $50 per person before you buy anything to eat or drink. Cabanas are pricey, but it's all fun.
