The Entertainment Capital of the World is also becoming the food capital of the world with more new restaurants and cuisines being represented than ever before. We like to search for places that are not only in the main path of the Las Vegas Strip, but also all over the city that are doing their part to make the Las Vegas Food Scene so special.
Lori and I attended a recent fundraiser at The Flamingo Hotel and we're posting some of the pictures from this event for you to enjoy.
The best ravioli and sauce is at a restaurant at Cesar's Forum Shoppes on the Strip. They're listing in Zagat's.
For Italian dining that is consistent and offers different entertainment on a nightly basis, Bootlegger Restaurant is a must-go-to. Bootlegger is owned by our own Nevada Lt. Governor, Lorraine Hunt and it's been a family restaurant and a Las VEgas staple for who's who for decades. Everything is wonderful from breakfast to middle of the night snacks. It's also been a lucky place for us with the nice video poker bar.
The best kept secret is that the Las Vegas locals really love their local video poker bars and dine at them because most of them have excellent food. For a breakfast delight we love Winchell's because they have my favorite Ultimate Oatmeal complete with fruit and nuts. Winchells is on Eastern at Horizon Ridge.
Newer in Las Vegas on the growing St. Rose Parkway is a restaurant and separate video poker bar called The Bar. The food is great and they do an excellent salad . Pricing is right.
You've probably heard of the newest casino on the southernmost tip of the Las Vegas Strip and it's called M Resort and Casino. It opened March 1st and continues to break new ground on promotions with Studio M demonstration kitchen set up for broadcasts, a new Day Dream pool, and special entertainment events.
